Class Guidelines
Mrs. Baker is the teacher in Room 24 and the person you are responsible to while in this room.
- The student should bring to class a FOLDER with pockets on the sides. Please try to choose unusual colors so that the folder is easily identified. These folders will remain in our room. A WRITING LOG is also required!!!-composition notebook. The student will also need a 2GB USB FLASHDRIVE-$9.00 @WALMART!!
- The student shall come to class prepared to work. He should have a pen, pencil and paper with him/her.
- The student shall be in his/her seat, with his supplies and folder ready to work at the bell. He/ she should have checked the agenda for the day and be working on the Blob and Journal entries when the bell rings.
- The student must cooperate with the teacher and other students at all times.
- The student must be QUIET! At times each student will be working on different assignments. Quiet is necessary if work is to be completed successfully and time not wasted. Many of my discipline referrals are for verbal disruptions.
- You are expected to be working at all times. REMEMBER, no work will result in a “0” for the time you have wasted. If you refuse to work, after prompting, you will receive a referral.
- No profanity, rude words or rude behavior will be tolerated.
- No food or drink is allowed in the classroom unless it is given to you by me. If I see it, it will become MINE. You may chew gum as long as I do not see it or hear it. No food, drink, or gum is allowed at the computers.
- All visits to the restroom / water fountain, office, etc. will be counted as a tardy. Remember that every tardy after the second is a trip to the office.
- Teacher’s desks, the items on it and in it are not your property. You do not have permission to use any of it. Please ASK! The same applies to every person’s work area and supplies.
- Collateral must be given to the teacher for all supplies borrowed. This includes calculators. Be prepared to offer collateral of equal or greater value if you wish to borrow materials. Notebook paper is not supplied by the teacher!!!
